Nothing in life is of greater importance to the creation than to seek the pleasure of the Creator (SWT). It is He (SWT) that created man from nothing and He (SWT) that commands the utmost respect and worship in all our actions.As Allah (SWT) commanded: "I have not created jinn and man except to worship Me." [EMQ 51:56]

Therefore the aim of Al-Muhajiroun is to please Allah (SWT).  And we please Allah (SWT) by worshipping Him (SWT) and  submitting to Him only. And our worship of Allah is through fulfilling his commands and doing those duties made obligatory upon us.The criterion for worship is to abide by the commands of Allah (SWT) in all actions and these are defined solely by Allah (SWT): "Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. And Allah is aware of all things you do." [EMQ 33:2]

And He (SWT) also says: "Then We set you upon a way (Shari'ah) by which your purpose will be fulfilled: so follow this way and not the whims of those who have no knowledge." [EMQ 45:18].

And He (SWT) also says: " He is the One who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Deen of truth (Islam) for it to be dominant over all other Ideologies and ways of life (Deen)" [EMQ 9:33]

Therefore the following of and full implementation of this Shari'ah is the greatest challenge facing Muslims, indeed without this application of Islam to life's affairs, we cannot say we are living by Islam. The sham of corruption characterised by the systems of disbelief which are implemented throughout the world must come to an end for us to achieve this noble goal. But as long as the Muslims stay silent the tyrants will continue to steal the authority to rule, which Allah (SWT) granted to the Ummah. And as long as sincere, active Muslims or group(s) engage themselves in secondary issues without linking them to the vital issues such as the solution to our problems then we will delay the achievement of our key goal Izhaar ul-Deen (The domination of Islam World-wide).

Background About Al-Muhajiroun:

* Al-Muhajiroun is an Islamic Movement established in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia on 3rd of March 1983 by Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad, Al-Halabi, Al-Shaaf'ie.

* Al-Muhajiroun participated during the Gulf crisis in 1990 with the activities of the International Islamic Front in the UK, under the leadership of Sheikh Abdullah Abou ul-Farouq in a march in London against the Western invasion of Muslim land and their interference in Muslim affairs.

* Al-Muhajiroun declared itself in the UK on the 16th of January 1996 as an independent Islamic Movement.

* Al-Muhajiroun is an Islamic Movement whose ideology (Deen) is Islam, therefore the Islamic Aqeedah is the soul of its body, its core and the secret of its life.

* Al-Muhajiroun's founders  are Muslims from different parts of the Ummah who are qualified in Shari'ah and are graduates from Universities and colleges world-wide in various fields of study.  Amongst the founders are various Scholars as well as learned youth who have been and still are working for the domination of Islam wherever they may be.

* Al-Muhajiroun's founders have been active with various Islamic movements who were and still are working to establish the Islamic state (Al-Khilafah) such as the Muslim Brotherhood (Al-Ikhwaan), Hizb ut-Tahrir, Al-Jama'at ul-Islamiyyah, Tanzeem ul-Jihad , Young Muslims, Jamat Islami, Tableeghi Jama'ah, Young Ulama of Europe and more recently The Islamic World League.

* Al-Muhajiroun understand deeply the problems currently being faced by the Ummah, the shortcomings of the Islamic groups, the causes of the hostility between the various groups and the Muslim Ummah and that between the groups themselves.

* Al-Muhajiroun focus on working with the Ummah and support these groups against the oppressive regimes in order that Allah's (SWT) Deen can be dominant.

* Al-Muhajiroun has adopted a comprehensive Islamic culture based on the Qur'an and Sunnah and an Islamic method to fulfil the Islamic duties and they have considerable experience of the styles and means which need to be adopted and are cognisant of the obstacles which need to be overcome, Insha Allah.

* Al-Muhajiroun distinguish between the duty of the Individual, of Group(s) and of The State. They understand that the Duty of the Individual is to be concerned about the Muslims, and that the duty of Group(s) is to look after the affairs and the interests of the society, whilst the Duty of The State is to manage the affairs of the Society. Therefore they will never neglect their duties nor will they involve themselves with the duties of The State.

* Al-Muhajiroun is an Ideological Islamic Movement, they believe that changing the  thoughts and concepts in accordance with Islam is the only way for the correct revival and progress, therefore they do not believe in any armed struggle to change society despite the fact that armed struggle can change the authority it can not change the society i.e the concepts and emotions within the society. However they do believe that Jihad (i.e. armed struggle) is the only Islamic way to liberate the Muslim land under occupation e.g Palestine, Kashmir, India, Chechenya and Bosnia etc..

* Al-Muhajiroun's activity has quickly spread to different countries, such as : Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Mauritius, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India, Malaysia, USA, France and the UK. Today it's work is known internationally. Its call is directed to establish the Khilafah.

* Al-Muhajiroun  has suffered hardship, defamation and has been attacked by some governments like Egypt, Algeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Britain.  But this is expected since this is the nature of the struggle between Islam and non-Islam (Kufr).

* Al-Muhajiroun has many organs which are active within society under its leadership. These organs specialise in different fields such as: The Society of Muslim Lawyers, The Society of Converts to Islam, The Society of Muslim Parents, The London School of Shari'ah, The Shari'ah Court of The UK, The Society of Muslim Students, The Islamic World League, The Muslim Cultural Society and The Party of The Future.
